Respiratory Therapists and Respiratory Therapy Technicians (also known
as Respiratory Care Practitioners) evaluate, treat and care for patients
with breathing and other cardiopulmonary disorders.
Our Respiratory Therapists assume primary responsibility for all respiratory
care therapeutic treatments and diagnostics procedures.
The Respiratory Therapist consults with the doctor and other healthcare
providers to help develop and modify individual patient care plan.
Respiratory Therapists play a major role in home management of patient’s
on mechanical ventilation and other life-support system. They also
provide support services and education to patients with other respiratory
or cardiopulmonary conditions including asthma, COPD, CHF and Apnea.
Respiratory Therapists are instrumental in ongoing monitoring, equipment
